Keith Schorsch
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Keith’s
diagnosis of and recovery from Lyme disease led him to launch Trusera,
but his 20 years of experience envisioning and building high growth
consumer technology businesses didn’t hurt. From 1997 to 2002, he was a
senior executive at Amazon.com and an integral part of the company’s
early growth from $16 million to $3.2 billion in sales and from 90,000
to 35 million customers. Prior to joining Amazon, he was a senior
member of McCaw Cellular/AT&T Wireless' PCS team. He graduated
Magna Cum Laude with an AB from Harvard College and has an MBA from
Harvard Business School.
Keith serves as a Board Trustee of
the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, home to three Nobel
Laureates. He still regrets the time he lost
away from his sons during his illness, but is grateful every day for
that one friend’s sharing, which led to his healing. In his spare
time, you’ll find him hiking, doing Pilates, and eating really healthy
food (he lost 50 pounds, thanks to a newfound commitment to his health
after his Lyme scare).
Jennifer Schorsch
Vice President, Marketing
Jennifer
brings 15 years of experience building great consumer brands and
businesses to support the Trusera vision. As an executive at Starbucks
from 1992 to 2000, she served in several key roles, including
Vice-President of Retail Marketing, North America and Regional Vice
President, Northwest. Jennifer led company expansion into more than 30
new markets and helped Starbucks grow from 150 to 3,500 stores and from
$100 million to $2.2 billion in revenues. Prior to her Starbucks
tenure, Jennifer served as a consultant for Bain & Company. She
has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA, Summa Cum Laude from
Dartmouth College.
Jennifer awoke to Keith Schorsch’s screams of
agony, injected IV antibiotics into his arm in their living room and
took care of their then two toddlers during his Lyme Disease ordeal.
She experienced firsthand the confusion and urgency of trying to find
answers. Jennifer is passionate about books, food (good and healthy!)
and parenting.
