- You’re more than your illness. That’s why our site isn’t laid out by health condition. It’s way more precise than that: our site’s technology suggests people and stories for you, based on the interests you tell us about. Do you have a child with autism, struggle with your weight, live in Denver, like to go on long bike rides? Most likely, so does someone else -- someone like you. We will show you that person and their stories.
- Your experience has value. Sharing that experience is powerful. The world of health is changing. Your voice matters. Writing about what you’re going through can change a life. Check out what member MicheleHyra did to help change the lives of other women faced with breast cancer. The best part about your sharing? The more you write, the more information you’ll receive that’s relevant to you. (See belief #1).
- Sharing with a purpose is important. In other words, rather than writing about where you went today and what you bought at the grocery store, you can type up a great tip from your doctor. Or share what side effects that medication had. Or what technique helped your child with ADHD relax more today. You get our drift – that’s why each “Story” page has a “Recommendation” box. By filling that in, you’re helping others move forward and get better, or live happier lives.
- Your privacy is everything. Here, you always have control over who you really are, from your name to what you write. In fact, everything you write can be private - if you choose - or can be shared with your Trusera “friends,” or can be completely public. It’s up to you. We will never, ever share your information without your permission.
